Who can take part
- You currently have, or previously had, a diagnosis of anorexia nervosa (AN).
- If you are still dealing with AN: your body mass index (BMI) is between 11 and 17.5, or above 17.5 but you still have active eating symptoms.
- If you are recovered: your BMI must be between 18.5 and 30, and it must have stayed above 18.5 for at least 1 year.
- If you are a healthy control: you must not have anorexia or other major mental health diagnoses, and your BMI must be between 18.5 and 30.
- You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must not have certain medical conditions (like brain conditions, schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder, untreated thyroid problems, kidney or liver disease).
