Who can take part
- You can sign consent and follow all study visit requirements for the study period
- You have had head and neck cancer treated with outside-beam radiation (sometimes with chemotherapy too)
- You can have MRI scans, including the special contrast MRI, and you can tolerate being in the scanner
- Your kidney function is good enough for contrast (estimated GFR is at least 60)
- You are able to have clear-quality MRI images that the study team can use
- You fit one of these situations: before radiation starts, after radiation with no jaw bone damage, re-irradiation with no jaw bone damage, early low-grade jaw bone damage needing treatment, or advanced jaw bone damage needing surgery
