Who can take part

  • You have a known or suspected tumor that may have somatostatin receptors (often certain neuroendocrine tumors or related cancers)
  • You can get a standard CT scan within 6 months of joining the study (an MRI may also be done within 6 months)
  • You are at least 14 years old and can follow study instructions
  • Your general health/activity level is good enough (ECOG score 3 or less)
  • You can stay still for the entire imaging time and complete all required scans
  • You can provide written informed consent

This pilot study tests a total-body PET scan with approved tracer medicines to help detect cancer spread in people with suspected metastatic prostate cancer or certain neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). You may be able to join if recent scans already suggest metastasis and you can safely complete the scan timing and positioning.
