Early botulinum shots to prevent shoulder shape problems

Who can take part

  • Your baby has OBPP on only one side (not both arms)
  • Your baby is between 10 and 11 months old
  • Your baby has a higher risk for shoulder slipping out of place, based on arm movement testing and/or a specific score from a clinic exam
  • A parent or guardian signs the consent form for the study
  • The baby can have planned MRI scans at the children’s day hospital (including sedation rules if needed)
