Who can take part
- You have EBV infection that is not improving after at least 2 weeks of appropriate anti-viral treatment, or it is worsening with symptoms caused by EBV
- Your EBV symptoms (like bowel inflammation, swollen lymph nodes, or enlarged liver/spleen) are present and may be confirmed by tests or biopsy
- You cannot tolerate anti-viral medicines (for example, you have had problems with rituximab or other recommended treatments)
- You can participate safely: your activity level is above the trial’s cutoff (Karnofsky/Lansky score must be above 30)
- You are able to use effective birth control if you can become pregnant, and pregnancy test is negative if required
