Who can take part

  • You have a CMV infection that has not improved after a full course of the right antiviral medicines, or you cannot tolerate them
  • You recently had a transplant: either bone marrow transplant (HSCT) or a solid organ transplant
  • Your blood counts are not too low for this treatment (ANC must be at least 500)
  • You can be in the trial physically (performance score above 30%) and can give consent
  • You are able and willing to avoid pregnancy during the study (negative pregnancy test if needed)
