Who can take part

  • You have confirmed (biopsy) or strongly suspected pancreatic adenocarcinoma (a specific pancreatic cancer type)
  • You are scheduled for planned “curative intent” surgery (the goal is to remove the cancer)
  • You’re expected to live more than 12 weeks and are well enough to do daily activities (performance status not too low)
  • Blood test results are high enough: hemoglobin at least 9 and platelets at least 100,000
  • Certain minerals and hormone levels are in a safe range: magnesium, potassium, and calcium above the lab’s lower limit, and TSH below 13
  • You have no recent investigational drug (within 30 days) and no major recent heart or stroke event
