Who can take part

  • You have a lung nodule or lung mass that could be cancer (primary lung cancer or spread from elsewhere)
  • You are scheduled for planned lung surgery to remove the nodule/mass for diagnosis and/or cure
  • You are well enough to participate (Karnofsky 70%+ or ECOG/Zubrod 0–2)
  • Your blood counts and kidney function are in acceptable ranges (hemoglobin, white blood cells, platelets, creatinine)
  • You have not taken another study drug in the last 30 days
  • You cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding, and you must be able to consent
