Who can take part

  • You must be older than 18 years and able to agree to the study
  • Your doctor must think you need surgery to remove or biopsy a brain tumor (primary brain tumor suspected or already proven)
  • You must be able to have an MRI before the procedure (about within 14 days, ideally within 3 days)
  • Your body must be safe for MRI (no unsafe implants/metal in or near your body, and pregnancy isn’t allowed)
  • Your kidneys must be healthy enough for contrast dye, unless your study doctor decides it’s still safe
