Who can take part

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have suspected or confirmed cancer that is either recurring or metastatic in the head and neck area
  • Plan to receive treatment at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK)
  • Be able to safely complete MRI without needing anesthesia
  • Not be pregnant and be able to cooperate during the MRI scan
  • Not have certain MRI safety issues (example: pacemaker, metal clips/implants that are unsafe for MRI) and not have a known allergy to gadolinium contrast
