Who can take part

  • You have a confirmed head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
  • You will receive 2 or 3 cycles of chemotherapy plus an immunotherapy drug (PD-1 inhibitor) before surgery.
  • You will have an MRI scan within 30 days of starting this treatment.
  • You plan to have surgery to remove the tumor after the neoadjuvant therapy.
  • You have not had any prior treatment for head and neck cancer.
  • The cancer has not spread to other parts of the body.
