Who can take part
- Your child has a recent blunt injury to the belly (or doctors strongly suspect one)
- Your child is stable right now and usually does not need massive blood transfusion or emergency surgery within the next hour
- A CT scan of the belly has been ordered or already done
- Your child can have the study ultrasound contrast medicine (Lumason) safely (no prior allergy to it or its ingredients)
- The injury should be only blunt; there should not be penetrating belly trauma (like a puncture or stab)
- Your child does not have known heart disease (congenital or acquired)
