Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 75 years old
- Have been told you have facet joint osteoarthritis in the low back (L1 to S1)
- Have at least 6 months of low back pain and tried at least 3 months of non-surgery, conservative treatments without enough relief
- Have done supervised physical therapy for low back pain and still have pain (pain score at least 4 out of 10)
- Pass a “test injection” requirement: you get more than 80% pain relief after a diagnostic injection into the facet joint
- Be able to follow the study visits and sign consent to complete exams during the study
