Who can take part

  • Ages 2 to 18, and you must have short bowel syndrome (SBS) with ongoing IV nutrition need
  • At least 3 months have passed since your bowel surgery that led to SBS
  • You receive IV (parenteral) nutrition for at least 6 months, with a stable need in the last month
  • You have a central venous catheter (a long IV line) in place
  • You also have a feeding tube and are getting tube feeding through a pump at a compatible rate, and can tolerate enough daily tube feeding to use RELIZORB cartridges (up to 6 per day)
