VEE booster vaccine safety and immune response study in adults
Part of Brain & nervous system, Infections clinical trials.
This Phase 2 study tests whether a VEE (Venezuelan equine encephalitis) booster vaccine is safe and helps your immune system respond in adults. It is for people previously vaccinated with VEE TC-83 who currently have low immune protection.
Summary written for real people, not researchers, by Clin2.
Who can take part
- You must be 18 to 65 years old when you sign consent
- You previously received the VEE TC-83 vaccine
- Your blood test must show low immunity (PRNT80 under 1:20)
- If you can become pregnant, you must have a same-day negative urine pregnancy test before each shot and avoid pregnancy for 3 months after the last dose
- You must be at risk of VEE exposure and have submitted a request for study vaccine access paperwork (IND vaccines request for VDD vaccine)
- You must be able to attend all follow-up visits and agree to report side effects after vaccination

This study tests a new vaccine called V4020 designed to protect against Venezuelan equine encephalitis (VEE), a virus spread by mosquitoes. The vaccine is given to healthy adults to see if it is safe and creates a good immune response.
This study tests how safe a Rift Valley fever (RVF) vaccine is and how strongly it triggers the body’s immune response. You may be eligible if you are at risk of RVF exposure and your blood test shows you don’t already have strong protection.
This study tests a new vaccine designed to protect against Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), a common virus that can cause serious illness. You would receive the vaccine and be monitored to see how safe it is and how your immune system responds.
This Phase 2 study compares Ebola vaccine immune responses when one Ebola treatment (Inmazeb) is given, then a vaccine (Ervebo) is given later. The goal is to see how the delay in timing changes your body’s immune response.
This trial tests a booster dose of an experimental RSV vaccine (SCB-1019T) in healthy adults aged 60-85 who have already received the approved RSV vaccine AREXVY. The goal is to see if the booster is safe and boosts your immune system.
This study tests if a booster dose of one of two Ebola vaccines (Ervebo® or Zabdeno®) is safe and works well in people who already got an Ebola vaccine more than 4 months ago. It's especially for people living in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) who may have been vaccinated before and might need a stronger, longer-lasting immune response.
