This study looks at blood “markers” to find early signs or higher risk for pancreatic cancer. You may join if you have certain risk factors (like new diabetes, pancreatic cysts/pancreatitis, or a strong family history) and can come to Omaha for blood draws twice a year.

Who can take part

  • Be at least 19 years old
  • Be able to sign a consent form and understand the study
  • Be able to visit the study site in Omaha, Nebraska in person twice each year for blood samples
  • Have one qualifying risk condition, such as new diabetes/high-risk pre-diabetes, pancreatic cysts or pancreatitis, or inherited/family risk
  • Do NOT have a personal history of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC)
  • Not be currently on cancer treatment (except long-term hormone therapy)
