Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Be able to understand and sign consent (French or English)
- If you’re in the NASH/NAFLD group: you have suspected or known NAFLD or NASH
- You must be scheduled to have a liver biopsy as part of your usual medical care
- If you’re not diagnosed (a healthy volunteer): you must NOT have suspected/known NAFLD or NASH and must not have key risk factors or existing liver fat on MRI
