Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You can understand the study and sign informed consent.
- You are suspected to have NAFLD and may be starting treatment, and you have at least two risk factors such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol/triglycerides.
- Your blood tests show elevated liver enzymes (ALT 40 or higher) OR you meet the study’s overall liver-risk profile described above.
- You are scheduled for a standard right-lobe liver biopsy (through the skin or through the neck).
