Who can take part
- Be 18 years old or older
- Your thoracic (chest/lung) surgeon must say you are a good candidate for iVATS surgery
- Have a small lung spot (nodule or “GGO”/hazy area) that can be measured, with the longest size 20 mm (2 cm) or smaller
- The spot must be in the outer half of the lung or lung lobe
- Be willing to be evaluated at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) and/or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) thoracic surgery clinics
- You must not be pregnant or breastfeeding
