Who can take part

  • You have non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) or a suspicious spot, in an early stage (I, II, or IIIa).
  • You are scheduled for a surgery that removes a lobe (lobectomy) or part of a lobe (segmentectomy) — not the whole lung or a wedge.
  • You have not received chemotherapy or radiation before this surgery.
  • You have not had any chest surgery on the same side of the lung before.
  • You are 18 years or older and a Korean citizen.
