Brain scan study of an antibiotic for drug addiction

Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 65 years old
  • Speak and read English well enough to follow instructions and tasks
  • Have usable eyesight (with glasses/contacts if needed) for the study tasks
  • Smoke more than 10 cigarettes per day for at least 2 years, and have a positive breath carbon monoxide test (10 ppm or higher)
  • If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative urine pregnancy test
  • Agree not to use any other tobacco or nicotine products (like e-cigarettes, patches, gum, or sprays) during the study
