- You are a teenager with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (a common scoliosis type, not caused by another disease).
- Your spinal curve measurement (Cobb angle) is between 25 and 45 degrees.
- Your bones are still growing (Risser grade 0 to 2).
- You have already been treated with a rigid brace for scoliosis.
