Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (in a teen who is otherwise healthy)
  • Your growth is still happening (Risser 0 to 2, meaning you likely have remaining growth)
  • A clinician has prescribed a brace—either a underarm (Boston) brace or a Milwaukee brace
  • You can attend follow-up visits for the study
  • You (and your guardian, if needed) agree to take part in the study
