Imaging study for low-grade glioma in children and adults

Pediatric Low-grade Gliomas

Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with low-grade glioma (LGG)
  • If you’re an LGG patient: you receive care at DFCI
  • You must be able to safely have MRI/brain imaging (no unsafe metal inside the body or near the eye)
  • You should not have any implanted electrical devices, like a pacemaker or perfusion pump
  • You should not have ferromagnetic (magnet-sensitive) implants or metal fragments
  • If you can become pregnant: you cannot be trying to become pregnant, breastfeeding, or think you might be pregnant
