  • Be between 7 and 21 years old
  • Be getting pain treatment at the Children’s National Medical Center Pain Clinic
  • Agree to participate with parent consent and child assent (written, as required)
  • Have no eye problem that would prevent pupil measurements
  • Not be actively using opioid pain medicines (past use may be okay)
  • Not be pregnant
