  • You are planning to have RYGB weight-loss surgery (gastric bypass)
  • You are age 18 to 80
  • You have type 2 diabetes or prediabetes
  • Your weight has been stable for at least 3 months
  • You have obesity (BMI 30 or higher) and are eligible for NHS surgery under NICE rules
