Biobank study of gut microbes, genes, and blood chemistry

Inflammatory Bowel Diseases

Part of Digestive system clinical trials.

This study collects samples to learn how gut microbes, genetics, and body chemistry may relate to Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Your information and samples may help researchers understand disease patterns, but it does not test a new drug.

NCT05704413Recruiting
Biobank study using gut tissue in bowel disease

This study collects and stores digestive (bowel) tissue to better understand how gut bacteria may affect diseases like ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease. It may help researchers find future ways to improve care for people with these conditions.

NCT06042387Recruiting
Genome study across diverse populations with IBD

This study looks at the genes of people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and healthy volunteers to understand why IBD affects different populations. You may join if you have Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, or undetermined IBD, or if you are a healthy person without any IBD history.

NCT03756649Enrolling by invitation
IBD biobank study for adults and young adults

This study collects and stores information and samples from people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) to help researchers learn more and improve care. Your participation mainly helps build a “biobank,” which can support future studies.

NCT03589183Recruiting
Gut microbiome study for ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease

This study looks at how changes in gut bacteria (the microbiome) relate to inflammatory bowel disease, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease. It may help researchers understand what might improve symptoms or disease control.

Seoul
NCT04617184Recruiting
Join an inflammatory bowel disease registry and sample bank

This study asks people with known or suspected inflammatory bowel disease to enroll in a registry and biorepository. It helps researchers better understand the condition using health information and stored biological samples.
