Chemo plus targeted radiation versus chemo alone for liver cancer

Who can take part

  • You have liver cancer (not lymphoma) confirmed by pathology (biopsy/surgery results).
  • Your liver tumors can be treated fully with the radiation plan, and each tumor setup fits the study size limits (no tumor over 25 cm).
  • You have 5 or fewer measurable liver lesions, checked on a contrast CT or MRI within the last 90 days.
  • Your cancer can’t be removed by surgery (it’s considered medically or surgically unresectable).
  • You can have standard blood counts and liver lab results (for example, platelets, bilirubin, and INR must be in acceptable ranges).
  • You’re 18 or older, can give consent, and have a life expectancy of more than 6 months.
