Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are currently hospitalized in a cardiology department
- You have heart failure with either preserved, moderately reduced, or reduced ejection fraction
- Your BNP level is 35 pg/mL or higher (or NT-proBNP is 135 pg/mL or higher) for the preserved or moderately reduced groups
- You have evidence of heart structure changes or diastolic dysfunction on an echo
- You do not have pregnancy, poor echo windows, or allergy to echo gel
