  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You are having a planned open midline abdominal surgery with an incision at least 5 cm
  • You can sign consent paperwork and agree to follow the study follow-up visits
  • Your risk of developing a hernia is moderate or higher
  • You must not have had a previous hernia repair
