  • Your doctor suspects you have PFIC, a rare inherited liver condition
  • Your suspected PFIC type may involve FIC1, BSEP, or MDR3 genes
  • This suspicion can be based on symptoms, blood tests, and/or other clinical findings (not just confirmed genetics)
  • You may be asked for evaluations to better understand which PFIC subtype you have
