Breast Cancer Detection on Chest CT Scans

This study tests whether routine chest CT scans—imaging done for other reasons—can reliably find breast cancer. Researchers will compare chest CT results with mammograms and/or breast MRI to see if this approach could catch breast cancers earlier without extra imaging.

NCT06489665Recruiting
Testing a clearer mammogram for breast imaging

This study tests a new type of mammogram that might give clearer pictures of breast tissue. It is for women who are either scheduled for breast surgery or getting a regular mammogram.

Breast cancer screening for dense breasts using new X-ray scans

This trial compares two imaging tests—CESM (a contrast-enhanced mammogram) and DBT (3D mammography)—to see which works best for women with dense breast tissue. It may help improve how early breast changes are found in dense breasts.

Study to try advanced ultrasound for breast imaging

This study explores a new way to process ultrasound images of the breast. It is for women who have a finding, cyst, mass, or calcifications seen on a mammogram or ultrasound, and it uses a special ultrasound technique that may provide clearer images without extra radiation.

Cut biopsy numbers for less concerning breast findings

This study tests a plan meant to reduce how often people get a breast biopsy when the abnormality looks suspicious but not highly worrisome. It may help more people avoid unnecessary procedures while still keeping close medical follow-up.
