Who can take part
- You have breast cancer confirmed from a core needle biopsy (a needle sample from the breast).
- Your cancer is at a clinical stage T1 to T3 (not T4).
- You are planning to have breast-conserving surgery (not starting with a total mastectomy).
- On your breast MRI, you have a nearby “daughter” spot and non-mass enhancement within 1 cm of the main tumor.
- Your MRI does not show features that exclude you (for example, non-mass enhancement extending more than 1 cm away).
