Who can take part
- You have rheumatoid arthritis and it has not been controlled enough with usual treatments
- Your RA is active, with 5 or more swollen joints
- You are seropositive (blood tests show antibodies linked to RA)
- Your doctor has seen joint damage (erosions) on imaging
- Your RA has not responded to methotrexate, hydroxychloroquine, sulfasalazine, and leflunomide
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to consent and attend follow-up visits
