Who can take part
- You are an adult male who is getting a new (primary) shoulder implant for wear-and-tear or past damage
- You have NOT had surgery on the same shoulder before
- You are covered by the social security system and can give written consent
- You are not taking immune-suppressing medicines (unless the study allows it)
- You do not have skin problems where the cleaning will be done, and you are not allergic to povidone-iodine or benzoyl peroxide
