Who can take part

  • You can understand the study and sign the consent form
  • You have advanced liver disease, such as worsening cirrhosis, liver failure, or liver cancer at stage III–IV
  • You do not have HIV infection or have AIDS
  • You do not have severe ongoing mental health problems (like major depression, psychosis, or recent self-harm/suicide attempts)
  • You do not have serious diseases in major organs (heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, or blood)
  • You do not have another active cancer (unless it’s fully cured)
