Who can take part

  • You have been diagnosed with a liver condition like hepatic hemangioma, focal nodular hyperplasia, fatty liver, hepatitis B, liver fibrosis, or cirrhosis.
  • You are already scheduled for liver surgery or a liver biopsy as part of your care.
  • You do not have HIV or an active infection that would interfere.
  • You do not have a bleeding disorder, such as hemophilia or low platelet count.
  • You do not have a serious medical condition that weakens your immune system.
