Who can take part
- You agree to join the study by signing informed consent
- You are over 18 years old
- Your daily functioning is good (ECOG 0–1, meaning you can do most usual activities)
- You have breast cancer that has spread to the liver, confirmed by biopsy
- You are a candidate for liver surgery, and enough healthy liver tissue will remain (functional liver remnant volume over 30%)
- Your liver (and bone) metastases are stable or getting smaller with preoperative cancer treatment
