- You are not currently pregnant.
- You are 18 years old or older.
- You are scheduled for an IVC filter removal through Interventional Radiology at the University of Chicago Medical Center (UCMC).
- Your IVC filter was placed less than 6 months ago at UCMC by the current Interventional Radiology team.
- Your filter is specifically a Cook Celect or an Argon Medical Option Elite filter.
