Who can take part

  • You are an adult (over 18 years old).
  • For glioma: you have a planned treatment for a diffuse glioma (WHO grade II–IV), and doctors plan to take tissue for lab diagnosis.
  • For brain metastases: you have 1–4 brain metastases and you are planning surgery or stereotactic radiosurgery (a targeted procedure).
  • You can give informed consent (and your speech/thinking abilities allow this).
  • You can have a 3T MRI: no pacemaker/defibrillator that isn’t compatible with a 3T MRI; you must also weigh 120 kg or less.
  • If you could be pregnant: you cannot be pregnant, and if applicable you must follow pregnancy testing; you also cannot breastfeed.
