Who can take part

  • You’re between 18 and 40 years old
  • You can speak and read English well enough for study visits
  • Your MRI/physical exam matches specific hip problems (FAIS and/or labral injury), and you’re scheduled for first-time hip arthroscopy
  • You can return for all required follow-up clinic visits
  • You can make your own medical decisions and understand the study (decisional capacity)
  • You do not have a history of dangerous blood clots (deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, or clotting disorders)
