Who can take part

  • Your baby was born before 29 weeks of pregnancy
  • Your baby is currently in the NICU (newborn intensive care unit) or was followed at the hospital clinic after a NICU stay for prematurity
  • Your baby does not have major birth heart problems (except an ASD, VSD, or PDA)
  • Your baby does not have a serious birth lung or airway problem (like a blocked nose passage, trachea-esophagus connection, or certain airway malformations)
  • Your baby does not have Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome)
