Who can take part
- Your baby is a patient at Birmingham Women's Hospital
- Your baby has one of these conditions: pulmonary hypertension (high pressure in the lungs), a diaphragm problem (congenital diaphragmatic hernia), brain injury from lack of oxygen at birth (hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy), or chronic lung disease from being born early
- Or your baby is healthy and born after 36 weeks of pregnancy
- Or your baby is well but born before 36 weeks and is in the newborn intensive care unit or transitional care
- You, as a parent or guardian, must give permission for your baby to take part
- Your baby does not have a major heart defect or other serious birth conditions that affect the heart
