Who can take part

  • You are starting a new medicine that has a known genetics link (or you can have the genetics test done for that medicine).
  • You have a current medicine where you had a side effect likely caused by a gene-related way your body handles the drug (or it didn’t work as expected).
  • You may qualify if you (or your family) have a history of bad drug reactions or treatment failures linked to medicines affected by genetics.
  • You (or your legal guardian if you’re under 14) can sign the consent form.
  • You understand enough German to participate in the study and follow instructions.
  • You can personally travel to the study pharmacy to complete study visits/testing.
