Robot training to help you use a reading magnifier

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older and have vision loss from an eye problem
  • You received your magnification device from the UCLA Vision Rehabilitation Center
  • You can attend the study sessions and visits as scheduled (and won’t be moving or on long vacation)
  • You can understand the study steps and consistently tell the team what you see and how it feels
  • You have enough hearing to follow instructions by phone and hear communication from the robot
  • Your magnifier device must fit with special sensors (a place to hold it, and/or enough attachable surface for the sensors)
