Who can take part

  • Be age 16 or older
  • Have significant central vision loss that includes the center of vision (the fovea) in both eyes
  • Your eye’s gaze during testing should stay steady (fixation) within a small margin using your PRL
  • Have no signs of cognitive problems on a short memory/thinking test (MMSE)
  • The research team must be able to set up calibration using an eye-tracker successfully
