Who can take part
- Be between 51 and 89 years old
- Have resectable non-small cell lung cancer (stage IA to IIIA) and be scheduled for curative surgery
- Your planned surgery should be expected to take more than 2 hours
- No signs that the cancer can’t be fully removed (or that you’re only getting a biopsy)
- Do not have conditions or medicines that weaken immunity long-term, such as long-term steroids or other immune-suppressing drugs for autoimmune disease or after transplant
