  • Baby was born in Switzerland and is a live-born infant
  • Baby’s gestational age is under 32 weeks OR between 32 and 33 weeks if birth weight is above 1500 g
  • OR baby’s gestational age is between 35 and 42 weeks if they had moderate/severe brain injury from lack of oxygen around delivery
  • A baby’s medical record will be used for this minimal dataset and follow-up information
  • The study is focused on babies in the specific time windows listed above, not all newborns
