Who can take part
- You are scheduled for an elective liver transplant and your heart/lung check is acceptable for transplant
- You don’t have physical, movement, nerve, thinking, or language limits that would stop you from doing the program
- You can complete memory/thinking (psychometric) tests
- Your bleeding risk issues are controlled (for example, esophageal varices are treated, and certain high-risk varicose veins are not present)
- Your blood count and anemia level are not too low (hemoglobin is at least 80 g/L)
- You can safely do weight-bearing activity and you can attend and follow the program while hospitalized and after
