Prehabilitation before liver cancer conversion therapy
Part of Cancer, Digestive system clinical trials.
This study tests whether a pre-surgery exercise and nutrition program (prehabilitation) can improve recovery outcomes for people with liver cancer that cannot be surgically removed right away. The goal is to help you become stronger before planned treatment to shrink the tumor.

This trial studies whether a “prehab” program—structured exercise and preparation—can help people keep up function while they are on chemotherapy for colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver. If you can safely exercise, the program may help you tolerate treatment and stay active.
This trial tests if a more intensive treatment is better than switching to another therapy for people with advanced liver cancer (HCC) that got worse after a first treatment with bevacizumab and sintilimab. It aims to find a more effective option for patients who need a next step.
This trial tests giving two immunotherapy drugs directly into the tumor before surgery for liver cancer. It aims to see if this approach can shrink the tumor and improve outcomes for patients who are candidates for surgery.
This trial looks at how well certain initial treatments (like targeted therapy, immunotherapy, or liver-directed procedures) work in people with liver cancer who have not had surgery yet. It aims to see if these treatments can shrink the tumor enough to allow removal later.
This study tests whether a personalized preparation program led by nurses before liver cancer surgery helps patients recover better and have fewer complications. The program is designed specifically for people scheduled to have part of their liver removed.
This trial studies a structured exercise and training program before and after liver transplantation to help people recover better. You may be able to benefit if you’re getting an elective liver transplant and can safely participate in the training plan.
